- 3DVAR assimilation using snow simulated by Noah 4-layer land surface process model, SWE obs from US Air Force daily snow depth analysis and snow cover analysis from IMS. Klehmet et al. (2013) found CFSR to underestimate SWE over most of Siberia compared to GlobSnow and surface observations.
