- It is initialized and driven by ERA-Interim reanalysis and rely only on surface observations and no remote sensing observations, such as satellite. Provides 1.5 m specific humidity and 1.5 m relative humidity. Provides also 1.5 m dew point temperature (information on temperature variables are provided in Near Surface temperature subsection). The RDRS version 2.1 is available for download on CaSPAr (https://caspar-data.ca/ )
